barnstomp....

sarah invited us to the annual "barnstomp" at the farm where her c.s.a delivery comes from. she gets a box of organic produce delivered to her in seattle from the farm every week. the farm is located just west of chehalis, wa. they invited a chef from seattle to come and cook an amazing meal, using their produce as well as roasting a pig that they butchered. the food was incredible!!! for dessert they had fresh carrot cake made with of course carrots from the farm and goat cheese frosting is was sooo yummy! they also had some bands playing, dancing, and a bonfire going on into the evening. we had a great time enjoying the crisp fall night on the farm!

funny story: they had raffle tickets you could buy to win honey, produce, etc. i decided to buy 6 tickets for five dollars even though brian thought we didn't need to. well it was a good thing we did because we won 4 times! we came home with lots of fun and useful prizes! :)
