pumpkin butter!

it seems our little evelyn has all kinds of nick names already here is just a few: pumpkin butter, sweet girl, roosky, pumpkin, sweetpea, chunky checks (which we love!), love muffin, muffin, buttercup, baby girl (no longer is she our tiny baby!), and of course miss evie. she is just full of smiles, it is fun watching her smile and kick like crazy when she knows you are going to get her out of her car seat or crib. she has really been interested in her toys lately, she continues to drool like crazy and puts everything she can in her mouth, including her whole fist! she is starting to arch her back and squirm a lot when she is on her back, i think she will be rolling over in no time.
she still loves bath time...

her fingers must taste yummy!

hey!

i went in to check on evie the other morning and she had fallen asleep holding her deer, which is one of her favorite toys! she loves to chew on him and cuddle him into her face. i think its appropriate for "deer" to be her favorite toy in our household, especially since its hunting season! :)

this is what i get to wake up to every morning....
she loves when dad packs her around...

weekends...we love them!

playing with deer and bug...her two favorite toys!
we have been bringing out a few new toys over the last week, she really likes the bumbo and has also been enjoying the activity saucer which looks like a bug (i will have to post a pic of the bug next time)
look at me i can sit up!

summer has been so good to us that we are sad to see it go, but the crisp mornings and evenings have been telling us that fall is well on its way. i love fall, but after fall comes the rainy winter. :( we have a busy weekend coming up with the roofing project and my girlfriend mindy from central washington is coming to meet the little miss on friday. i can't wait, we use to work together at the hospital and we just don't get to see each other much anymore. she is staying the night, so hopefully we will have lots of time to catch up...i can't wait to see her!
hope you all have a fabulous weekend...we are hoping for sunshine since were tearing our roof off! :)

The pics are great. I do think a deer as her favorite toy is extremely appropriate! Jake said that Miss Evie is much quieter than Lauren....let's compare when Evie's almost a year!
