weekend getaway...

we had a great time getting away for the weekend to enjoy some great fall weather as well as attend a friends wedding. we stayed at the oregon gardens on saturday night, we took a crisp walk in the gardens on sunday morning, you could feel fall in the air for sure! then we ventured our way to silver falls for a hike and picnic while enjoying the sunshine. the tenbusch grandparents meet up with us to get a few quick squeezes on miss evelyn! we also ran into charlie, tiffany and the kids...it is always great to see them and their cute kiddos in action! our camera decide to quit working on sunday, so we missed a lot of great shots of the gorgeous waterfalls in the sunshine and the macdonald clan. it had been acting up lately, but i didn't want to give it up to get fixed, but it looks like i will have to now. :(

there was a gorgeous sunset as we were leaving the wedding, brian decided to practice his photography skills with the sunset....the top picture is with flash, while the bottom one is with out :)

it got really cold and windy at the wedding, so luckily we brought evie's one piece sweater suit! i just wish i could have wore one and looked that cute and cozy!

it was great to see TJ, but we were bummed we didn't get to see his cute wife amber and handsome boy mason :)

oregon garden...

i hope you all enjoyed the rain today as much as I did. when the rain comes i always feel like it is finally time to relax after a long summer of playing and doing projects. its nice to sometimes feel like you have to relax...we stayed in and did a bunch of baking for my friend that just had a sweet baby boy named Mac...i love the name! we also decided it was time to order the rain shield for the bob stroller, i don't mind the rain but i wouldn't want my sweet baby girl to melt! :)
