1st week at home...

we have been loving every minute with miss evelyn...she is such a sweet girl. she loves her swing and bouncy chair so much that sometimes i have to take her out just so i can get some cuddle time! she also doesn't mind her car seat, which is great because we seem to be on the go a lot. we have ventured out for a few walks at the park using the bob stroller and the sling...she loves getting some fresh air and a little sunshine. she has been sleeping in her co-sleeper at night and walking just 2-3 times a night for feedings and also takes great long naps during the day. i think our favorite things is when she falls asleep on our chest...which she does often. evie is also a champ at eating, at her one week appt. she was already up to 7lbs 120z, well above her birth weight...the doctor mentioned that she must be eating cream! :)

we have been eating like kings since sarah came and visited...she brought lots of food to prepare that we could freeze and eat throughout the week. we enjoyed the quick yummy meals all week!

allie hasn't paid much attention to the baby although the other day she decided to lay behind the chair while i feed evie, i think she might be pouting...

we are both loving being parents to miss evelyn, we just can't seem to get enough of her!

basement update: brian finished installing all the molding and doors over the weekend and was able to spray it all on sunday. we now just have to paint the walls and ceilings, install the bathroom vanity and toilet, put carpet down and were done! i'm sure there will be lots of odds and ends left to do, but the big projects will be done...we both can't wait to wrap up the remodel. our deadline is july 3rd, we have the douglas family coming to town and we want them to break it in! :)
